Martin Audio Adorn A80T (Black)

The A80T features an 8” (203mm) LF driver and a 1” (25mm) polymer domeHF compression driver on 90° x 50° horn. With a power handling of 200WAES, 800W peak, and a maximum SPL of 120dB at 1 metre, it is designed forbackground and foreground applications that call for premium sound qualityand high levels from a visually-discreet enclosure.

It can be wall-mounted vertically or horizontally using the supplied accessoryWB6/8 bracket, and its nominal impedance of 8 ohms enables multiple speakersto be driven in parallel from a single channel of a low impedance amplifier suchas the VIA2502, VIA5004 or the VIA5002 for 70V/100V line. It’s built-in high-quality transformer for 70V/100V line operation has transformer taps selectedby rotary switch. The enclosure is suitable for outdoor usage when used withthe waterproof connector cover accessory (sold separately).

AESTHETIC ENCLOSURES

ADORN full-range on-wall enclosures are visually unobtrusivewith smooth lines. Available in black or white as standard,they can be readily painted to match any interior décor andarchitectural environment.

ADORN in-ceiling and pendant speakers feature a bezel-lessgrille for a clean look and a bayonet fitting which is easy toremove without the use of tools. The in-ceiling series is finishedin white and may also be painted to blend with any décor whilethe pendant is also available in black as standard.

LOW IMPEDANCE ANDTRANSFORMER OPTIONS

All models have a nominal impedance of 16 ohms (except the8 ohm A80T), enabling four or more speakers to be driven inparallel by one amplifier channel, thereby maximising efficiencyand minimising cost.

All ‘T’ designated models are fitted with an internal high-quality70V/100V multi-tap line transformer with a switch to select theoutput level.
