You can use it to power a cabinet,go direct or connect to the front end of a traditional amp, ensuring you can take your sound with you anywhere. Power reduction down to 1W and USB-C connectivity means it’s equally at home in the studio or the stage.

AMPED 2 comes with 3 channel voicings:USA, UK & Classic.USA: Inspired by classic American amps of the mid ’60s. Very clean, dynamic and bright, but with a solid lowend and controlled mids. A perfect pedal platform.UK: A distinctive preamp based on a much-loved British Class A amplifier of the early ’60s. A low to mediumgain preamp that can be used clean, warm or mildly overdriven. Popular choice for a ‘pedal platform’ or asa responsive crunch tone.

Classic: Based on Blackstar’s award-winning cascaded valve/tube overdrive circuits and a traditional ‘British style passive tone stack’. Perfect for big chords and crunchy rhythm playing with clear note separation.

The Response control delivers threedistinctly different authentic power valve responses –EL34, EL84, 6L6.Each setting delivers the response, dynamics, sag and break-up characteristics of the selected valve power amp.

  • EL34: Classic British Class A/B crunch full-bodied soft break-up.
  • EL84: Bell-like full-bodied Class A with lots of compression.
  • 6L6: Tight dynamic Class A/B with extended highs and lows.

Fine-tune your cabinet, mic, and room simulations with BlackstarsCab Rig technology and output via XLR or stereo jack. Or, connect via USB-Cfor effortlessly simple recording to your DAW without the need for an interface.

Cab Rig is Blackstarsnext-generation DSPspeaker simulator that reproduces thesound and feel of a mic’d up guitarcab in incredible detail. Deepdiveusing the accompanying softwareand capture the incredible tones viaUSB / XLR D.I. or TRS Line out /headphones. Over 250 mic and cabcombinations can be saved into oneof the three onboard slots. Each cabhas a choice of mic type and axis,alongside room mics and master EQ.
